Linda Elementary School – Classrooms and Library Expansion

Marysville Joint Unified School District has twice been successful in recent years in passing local general obligation bonds for the expansion and improvement of the Marysville community public schools. With these successes at the polls, has come great responsibility for the district to implement the school campus facilities master plans and control the project outcomes.

ImageWorks has been working with the district since early 2008 and is creating solutions for giving the kids of the Marysville community the learning environments they deserve and ones that will inspire them to succeed in their lives.

This project in particular is a great example of dramatically improving the learning environment of a school. Through implementing sustainable building design principles, we are creating naturally lit and naturally conditioned classrooms and library spaces, creating a more conducive learning environment for the kids.

The district is currently in the selection process for assigning a general contractor to this project under a Lease Leaseback contract. ImageWorks will again work closely with the general contractor to refine project budgets and conduct value-engineering reviews to determine the final design solution. Construction will begin in Spring 2013, and ImageWorks will work with the construction team to build a wonderful place for kids to learn.
